Joe Ugarte, CPA
Joe Ugarte, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and founder of Spartan CPAs, a boutique CPA firm specializing in full-service financial services for individuals and small businesses. A seasoned financial leader with 10+ years of experience in driving strategic decision-making through insightful financial analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting. He has a proven track record of leading teams in optimizing profitability and identifying growth opportunities across diverse business units, including successful cost reduction initiatives resulting in significant savings.
Concurrent with his corporate career and academic studies, Joe served as a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Army for 8 years where he acted as a financial steward of federal government resources across military units and supported multinational training exercises in the European Union. His military background has instilled in him a strong sense of leadership, discipline, and strategic thinking that he regularly applies to his role at Spartan CPAs.
Joe holds a Master of Business Administration from the New York University Stern School of Business , a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in economics, finance and management from Rutgers University. He is also a Project Management Professional (PMP), Realtor, and Mortgage Loan Officer.
